Catering Sales and Event Coordinator

Catering Sales and Event Coordinator Job Purpose:

To provide top-notch support for the Event Coordination Team. The position is involved in all aspects of the event coordination process from inquiry to successful completion of the event. It requires effective maintenance of the various communication documents. This is accomplished through administrative support, working on special project as assigned and being proactive and responsive in a timely, friendly, tactful and professional manner.

Event Coordinator Job Duties:

– Maintain a positive relationship with existing clients while assisting in acquiring new clients

– Manage a high volume of special event inquiries that are received through our internal system, e-mails and/or phone calls

– Prepare proposal and budgets

– Prepare design concepts and inspiration boards as needed

– Coordinate between Operations, Culinary and Special Events team to ensure clear and concise communication and execution of events

– Maintain a professional, warm, welcoming and enthusiastic attitude at all time

– Provide professional customer service to clients while obtaining information throughout planning process via phone calls, e-mails, and in person meetings

– Is able to quickly familiarize with company catering offerings and service and provide knowledgeable information to clients

– Required to travel and attend events surrounding in Los Angeles, West Hollywood and Malibu

– Will require the use of your own personal vehicle

– Must be flexible and able to adapt to last-minute and ongoing changes

– Generates purchase orders and/or rental orders as needed for clients and vendors

– Is able to lift 25lbs and can be on feet for long duration of time while at events

– Professionalism, exceptional attention to detail
– Mac literate, Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word and Excel
