Secretary- Child Development Center

Job Description

Will provide general eligibility screening and provide clerical support duties for The Child Development Program.

Will also handle a wide variety of tasks with efficiency, sound judgment, and confidentiality.

Job Responsibilities
Answers and screens incoming calls; records and appropriately disseminates messages.
Types correspondences and reports; copies, collates and maintains filing system.
Maintains & organizes Office, Staff CCL and Child Data files (eligibility documents).
Maintains a smooth flowing system of office procedures.
Provides clerical support for the site as needed and completes other duties and projects as assigned.
Provide weekly enrollment summaries
Maintain full Child Care Enrollment and prioritize the eligibility waiting list
Secretary Requirements:
High School Diploma required.

AA Degree preferred
2 years of clerical support experience in an office environment
Working knowledge of basic administrative functions and office operations
Computer literate in Microsoft applications: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Type 50 wpm.
Ability to multi-task in a busy environment; detail oriented
Valid California Drivers License (if applicable)
Clean DMV record (if applicable)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
