Job Summary:
Installs and repairs wiring and electrical fixtures in the Industrial and Commercial field.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current State Certification for Journeyman
- Active Electrical Trainee Card for Apprentice
- 3-5 years’ experience in the Industrial/Commercial Field
- Have reliable transportation with a clean record
- Successfully pass a drug test
- Willingness to travel out of town/state 2-4 weeks at a time
- Aerial Lift Certification-Scissor/Boom/Fork
- OSHA 10 or 30
- Availability to work over-time as needed
- Know, adhere and enforce safety rules
- Have own basic hand tools-Tool Belt, Power Drill, Lineman, Needle Nose, Flat and Phil Screwdriver, Torpedo Level, Measuring Tape, Wire Strippers, Side Cutters, Hammer, Beater, Pipe Reamer, Nut Drivers

Job Qualifications:
- Bend Pipe ½”-3” EMT and Rigid
- Pull wire #12-500MCM
- Install lights-Flush mount or recessed
- Wire make up for lighting, receptacles, motors, panels ETC
- Plans new or modified installations to provide access for future maintenance and avoid unsightly and hazardous wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.
- Prepares sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follows diagrams, ensuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring.
- Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit.
- Splices wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, twisting or soldering wires together, and applying tape or terminal caps.
- Connects wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment.
- Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.
- Connects power cables to equipment and installs grounding leads.
- Tests continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components.
- Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to detect need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
- Repairs faulty equipment or systems.
