Human Resources Entry Level Generalist

Job Summary:

Responsible for processing various Human Resources Department forms including evaluations, employee payroll information, tracking competencies for JCAHO compliance, etc.

Assists employees and applicants with Human Resources issues.

Administers and communicates employee insurance plans and retirement program.

Coordinates employee relations programs, such as orientation, employee newsletter and special events.

Experience, Education and Licensure Required:
Bachelor’ s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred; or a combination of education and experience.
Three years of business, administrative experience, including at least one year in Human Resources.
Knowledge of employee benefits plan administration.

Skills and Abilities Required:

Excellent customer service skills and positive, helpful attitude.

Ability to accurately communicate insurance provisions and enroll/disenroll participants

Good computer knowledge and skills in working with spreadsheets, data entry, Internet/Intranet, etc.

Ability to work independently and use good judgment and problem-solving skills.

Good organizational skills.
