We are seeking an awesome Escrow Assistant that can deliver an effective customer service experience.

We are looking for someone who has experience in a client-facing role within Escrow, Title, or Real Estate Office.

The Escrow Assistant supports the Escrow office and Escrow Officer in the day-to-day processing of files.

The Escrow Assistant’s primary duty is to assist the Escrow Officer with all pre and post-closing functions.

Supports the Escrow Officer by:

Being the right hand to the EO by supporting the day to day functions.

Day to day functions typically include the following:
Responding to client emails supporting the Escrow Officers by timely replying to clients via email or calls.
Creating receipts for and sending out, the Preliminary Title Report, Homeowner Association Documents, City Reports, etc.
Disbursing documents and Amendments to Buyer, Seller, Agents, and Lender throughout the transaction
Provides information to the Buyer’s insurance company to obtain Evidence of Insurance
Sending information to the Buyer’s Lender working directly to communicate any updates from the Escrow Officer
Supports the EO by updating the management spreadsheet to include Escrow tracking.

Keeps track of all opens and closings daily; weekly.

Send reports to Management as needed.

As the Escrow Assistant becomes more proficient with processing, the assistant will learn the open to close process of the refinance accounts, with Escrow Officer guidance, and be responsible for maintaining customer service for these accounts and also learn to prepare estimates, funding conditions.

The Assistant will learn to: Assemble Funding Packages/Signed loan document packages: Multi tasking to get the work completed in a timely but organized manner.

This also includes assisting your office Escrow Officers in the closing process.

Communication is key throughout the day.

You are expected to remain flexible and jump in to help other teams as needed.

For future consideration Notary signings: The Escrow Assistant is encouraged to obtain their notary certificate and perform notary signings with clients in the office, if available.
Ability to manage multiple priorities; strong communication and customer service skills

Minimum 2 years’ experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe Reader, PDF, Email, Internet Searching, Copiers, Typing 50 wpm

Minimum of 2 years in a client-facing closing role in the Escrow or Real Estate Industry

Preferred general knowledge of real estate regulations and guidelines, document preparation, RESPA rules, payoff per diems & tax proration’s, interest etc.

Preferred: Knowledge of Streamline escrow software A Plus!

Familiarity with all concepts and procedures within the Escrow or Title Industry
Physical Demands:
This position requires sitting for hours at a time

Must be able to work at a computer with keyboard and mouse for 8 hours a day.

Some stooping, bending, and lifting up to 25lbs typically Office supplies which may include file boxes.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00
– $26.00 per hour
