We are looking for efficient and diligent meal packers to join our team at Border Grill.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced culinary environment and as a part of a team.
Adhering to food safety rules and regulations is a must.
Due to staffing needs, meal packers are expected to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
*This position will be transferring to our Pasadena commissary kitchen within the next few months.
Responsibilities
– Assemble food product containers and packaging in the correct manner before sending them down the production line.
– Place food/drink in appropriate containers in an efficient and timely manner.
– Ensure the integrity and cleanliness of the containers before they are shipped out to customers.
– Seal and label containers with the appropriate meal items.
– Arrange packed containers in an efficient and safe manner.
Requirements
· Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
· Manual dexterity able to operate kitchen utensils.
· A team player with good communication skills
· Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
· High school diploma or equivalent is desirable
