Joint Venture – Chief Operating Officer

In this role, the focus will be on leading global operations & supply chain for Adient Aerospace.

The successful candidate would be a Boeing leader on a secondment agreement to Adient Aerospace Joint Venture.This position is expected to be 100% onsite .

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Huntington Beach , CA .

Position Responsibilities Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Translate company vision into concrete, measurable deliverables
• Implement and drive Key Performance Indicators across business operation
• Envision, establish, and implement a workforce proposal structured for the achievement of product roadmaps and milestones; manage capacity planning in accordance with published skyline
• Ensure the necessary technical capability to deliver the workload, both capacity and skills, to support the business strategy, evaluate skills matrixes against skills needed for innovation and process improvement
• Responsible for meeting timelines, deliverables and quality specifications as outlined by our customer agreements
• Responsible for monitoring cost, quality, and delivery; utilizes departmental metrics to drive improvement
• Enable aggressive product completion timelines while ensuring quality and financial targets are achieved
• Lead, manage, and inspire distributed teams
• Develop talent and career ladders, establishing a high-performance culture
• Collaborate with executive peers to achieve company business targets
• Manage, forecast and report annual budget and prepare and manage the annual budgeting cycle in conjunction with Finance
• Assist with a wide array of additional functions as necessary within rapid growth startup

Basic Qualifications ( Required Skills / Experience ):

• Experience leading manufacturing operations
• Experience leading supply chain operations
• Experience implementing continuous improvement
• Ability to travel up to 25% internationally & domestically

Preferred Qualifications ( Desired Skills / Experience ):

• PMP Certification
• Six Sigma Certification
• MBA preferred
