Part Time & Full-Time Driving School Instructor positions available for Melrose Driving School celebrating 34+ yrs in business. We pay for Training, Live Scan and DMV Licensing Fees. No previous experience is required. Teaching experience a plus.
Responsibilities and Duties
A Driving Instructor must be patient, responsible, and timely. This position is to train students between the ages of 15 to 95 to learn how to drive or correct bad habits they’ve developed throughout the years. Lessons are held in company vehicles and students are picked up from school/work/home using Covid-Safe protocols. As in any educational field, this position is very rewarding as you see your student’s progress and pass their DMV Drive Test. Everyone remembers their first time behind the wheel, be a part of training the Los Angeles community to become confident and responsible drivers.
Qualifications and Skills
-Must be over 21 years old
-Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent
-Valid California Driver’s License, Class C
-Have a Clean record (Live Scan required)
-Must be available to work WEEKENDS and/or Afternoons during the week.
