Goodwin seeks a highly qualified mid-level associate to join our Intellectual Property Transactions & Strategies group.
Candidate must have solid experience in intellectual property licensing, technology transfer and other technology transactions as well as in IP support (including intellectual property and technology transaction due diligence) of corporate transactions.
The candidate should have experience in drafting and negotiating intellectual property licenses (including patent and trademark licenses); joint development, collaboration and other strategic alliance agreements; technology licenses and services agreements (including software as a service agreements); distribution agreements (including OEM and VAR and other reseller agreements) as well as performing intellectual property and technology transaction due diligence for corporate transactions and technology transfers.
Should also have experience drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts, and counseling regarding intellectual property strategy.
Job Requirements:
Candidates applying or associate positions with Goodwin Procter should have outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
California bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) required.
