Seeking a creative assistant designer to create awesome, fun and unique designs for our smaller, higher end baby and kids swimwear and hat company specializing in UPF50+ protection and sustainable fashion!
Responsibilities include, and minimum one-year experience required in:
Original textile design and recoloring of existing textile designs.
**MUST have textile design experience and samples of your work in portfolio.**
Creative and fun swimwear and hat design!
If you are inspired and excited by baby and kids textile prints and styles, we want to hear from you!
Creating CADS, line sheets and sales catalogs
Preparing tech packs of textile art, body styles and trim for overseas factories
Communicating comments for lab dips, textile strike-offs, PP and TOP samples to overseas factories
Knowledge of and interest in sustainable textiles and fashion is great!
Social Media Management experience a plus
Experience working on ECommerce Marketplace Platforms such as Amazon a plus, but not required
Must be experienced, confident and proficient using:
InDesign (for sales catalog creation)
Illustrator
Photoshop
Qualifications:
Highly detailed, organized, and learns quickly
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, confident and flexible!
Gets along well with others and communicates clearly
Able to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Please note: Applicants who are being seriously considered after review of resume will have an audition design project to complete.
Job location is on-site in Los Angeles, Ca, but after some time of getting to know our design style and learning what is needed design-wise, it may be possible for some work to be done remotely.
