PBX Operator/Receptionist

Job SummaryThe PBX Operator/ Receptionist provides telephone scheduling support to the Sales Team and Customer Service support to club members and guests.Responsible for delivering the 24 Hour Fitness Service Promise; contribute to running a clean, friendly and well maintained club, and executing the team member basics of being on time and complying with the dress code.Responsible for assisting and directing members/guestsOrganizational Relationship: Reports to the Sales Manager or Assistant Sales ManagerEssential Duties & Responsibilities: Appointment scheduling [80% of time]Operate CRM systemAnswer incoming membership inquiries and obtain appropriate information for CRM data entryReach out to potential members by phone and set appointments for potential new businessEnsure appointment setting policy and procedures are followedPromote specials to current and future guests.Successfully attain personal appointment schedule/show targetCustomer Service [20% of time]Ensure required forms are available, and completed and processed properlyPromote and sell personal trainingKeep front desk area and lobby clutter free, and orderlyPerform general cleaning duties to include hourly locker room checksQualifications: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong customer service skills Strong communication skills both oral and written Organization skills Attention to detailCertifications / Educational Level:High School Diploma or GED requiredMust complete Club Orientation training prior to beginning the PBX operator/ Receptionist trainingMust complete Club Safety training within 30 days of hire Must attend New Hire Orientation prior to first scheduled shift in assigned clubExperience: Must have 6-12 months experience in customer service function.Telephone sales environment preferredExperience with multiple phone lines preferredBasic computer skillsPhysical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for up to 8 hours.

The employee occasionally stands, walks, kneels and reaches with hands and arms.

Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts The noise level in the environment is occasionally loudThis position description intends to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
