We are inclusive and fun.
Our work environment includes:
Relaxed atmosphere
Flexible working hours
At Bionaut Labs, we have embarked on a unique voyage inside the human body.
We are developing miniature remote-controlled robots that can navigate through tissue and target key anatomic locations in the body, for therapeutic or diagnostic purposes.
We are growing our R&D team and are looking for a creative engineer to join us in an exciting role as Electrical Engineer.
The successful candidate will lead the design, development, and testing of electrical components of a novel electromagnetic control system which actuates our micro-robots inside the human body.
Responsibilities
Design, development, and testing of an electromagnetic driver consisting of amplifier, current modulation components (~100Hz, 100A), and coils – used to drive the micro-robots.
Closely work with Mechanical Engineers, Software Engineers and Control System Engineers to integrate the EM driver in an EM control system (HW and SW) that accurately controls the micro-robots.
Design and build bench experiments, develop design recommendations based on such experiments and persuade team to adopt proposed designs.
Test instrument automation and data acquisition using Python/Matlab/etc.
Use DOE’s to explore and explain the variation of key performance attributes, such as impact of heat, impact of coil (miss-)alignment on generated magnetic fields, etc.
Definition of hardware requirements.
Develop timeline/plan and commit to agreed-upon milestones.
Survey hospital sites to spec power (~30kW) installation requirements and recommendations.
Most importantly, be part of the team and thrive!
