POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Human Resources Assistant performs a wide range of Human Resources functions.
Facilitates all phases of the recruitment process for the Center and perform administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the Human Resources Department.
KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES
To perform effectively in this position, the incumbent must be able to interface well with all staff members and represent the Center in a highly professional manner.
Must be able to deal tactfully and effectively, as well as establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the general public.
Incumbent will possess strong computer skills and basic knowledge of HR database programs such as Paylocity.
Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in both oral and written communication and have increasing knowledge of modern office practices, standards and business etiquette.
Will prepare audits, HR reports, correspondence, compose letters neatly and professionally, and maintain control of records and files.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school graduate or GED equivalent and one year of Human Resources or Executive Level Administrative experience.
Substantial equivalents may be substituted for the above requirements.
Valid California driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and adequate transportation are required.
