Bilingual Human Resources Intern – Gibbon (Summer 2023)

Overview: Internship Dates: Full Time for approximately 12 weeks (May
– August).

Position may extend through expected graduation date.

As a Bilingual Human Resources Intern, you will gain knowledge and understanding of the business through hands on activities, coaching, and projects.

A few learning opportunities include: Provide support to the Human Resources Team with staffing, benefits, payroll, time tracking, employee relations, and other HR related matters.Support the development of best practices as it relates to training employees how to become better engaged and self-sufficient with the tools available to them.Provide technical and functional support to HRMS end users to include downloading apps, resetting passwords, demonstrating functionality, etc.Research and respond to user inquiries and issues.Analyze and present findings on the most effective onboarding delivery methods for the wide variety of employee skill levels and generational characteristics.

Report training tips that resonate with the employees, discussing any direct correlation with retention and the employee experience, and knowing how to use the tools available to them.Develop and deliver engagement strategies for employees.NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications (Required): Must have completed your Sophomore year at a credited College or University.

Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Have the desire and ability to work well both independently and cross functionally.

Are willing to engage others through strong communication and leadership skills.

Are an inquisitive individual that has a desire to gain knowledge through experience.

Ability to perform all duties required in both office and manufacturing environments wearing proper PPE.Have reliable transportation to and from working location.
