PurposeThe Director of Social leads a highly talented team in the development of breakthrough content and has a proven track record of building and growing digital first divisions through the nurturing of strong client relationships, keen insights and innovative creative.

Job ResponsibilitiesAccount ManagementLead all client communicationEnsure work is on-brief, consistent with client expectations and meets WC standard of creative excellencePartner with Head of Insights in integrating strategic capabilities into social team processOversee campaign strategy development with Insights Team and CD, SocialDevelop client bids and SOWsOn-going tracking of team resources to ensure projects remain on budgetEngage clients in change order conversations as requiredHands on management of daily activities for multiple clients/projectsOversee project coordinator in the development of timelines and delivery of materialsContinue to optimize cross-divisional work flowQC creative, pitch decks, copy as neededTeam LeadershipDevelop Social Team growth plan to achieve short and long term company expectations inclusive of team structure, resourcing, new capabilities and resulting revenue milestonesWork collaboratively with CD, Social to achieve business goalsConduct performance evaluations in partnership with CD, SocialCultivate relationships with digital platforms with an eye towards innovation/new functionality that can be leveraged in new campaignsUpdate agency on emerging trends in digital/social Business DevelopmentLead all social new business efforts/client pitchesBuild relationships with new/potential clients on behalf of Wild Card Social and strengthen existing relationships through a consistent commitment to creative excellencePartner with CD, Social in evaluating and optimizing the digital/social pitch processReview digital/social capabilities and optimize as necessaryPartner w/CFO and CMO to develop annual revenue forecastsPartner w/VP, Client Operations in development of digital/social pipeline required to meet revenue goalsPartner w/division leaders on pitches requiring social Required Skills7+ years of experience in client relationship management5+ years of entertainment marketing experience in the digital/social spaceA minimum of 3 years in the management of creative projects from strategy through launchA minimum of 3 years experience leading digital/social business development efforts in entertainment marketingA proven track record of building and leading teams through exponential growthThe ability to plan and strategize at a senior levelEffective written and oral communication skillsBudget planning and managementPersuasive and confidentA keen attention to detailEntrepreneurial In order to adjust to changes in our business, it may become necessary to add, remove or modify certain duties and responsibilities, or to reassign you to another job position. From time to time you may be asked to work on special projects or to assist with other work. Your cooperation and assistance in performing such additional work is expected. Wild Card is proud to employ extraordinary talent across all genders, races, nationalities, religions, ages, abilities and sexual preferences.
