Western Regional Sales Manager

Summary/Objective This position is responsible for the sale of the organization’s products in the Western USA and provides ongoing support to the Plumbing, Heating, Electrical and Fastener installation and distribution channels.

  • Manages our manufacturer sales representatives with account strategies, territory planning and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Develops and increases sales revenue to meet assigned targets.
  • Actively involved in sales representative and customer orientation and sales training programs.
  • Acts as a resource to sales representatives in contract opportunities and proposals.
  • Assists sales representatives with contract negotiations, closing the sale and developing marketing plans for accounts.
  • Attends trade shows.
  • Answers questions from customers and sales representatives and handles complaints.
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position is responsible for the management of an independent manufacturer’s representative sales force.

Work Environment
This job would require working from your home.

Physical Demands
Extensive travel with sample case. Occasional trade shows and customer events.

Travel
This position requires up to 50% travel. Frequently travel is outside the local area and overnight.

Required Education and Experience

  • At least two years of field sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with manufacturer sales representatives

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
