As a Critical Power Region Sales Manager (Power Protection and Power Switching), you will direct and manage multiple sales teams supporting the Critical Power Product Protection and Power Switching businesses to ensure growth targets are attained for all products, services & solutions in the specified region.
In this role, you will manage sales managers, independent representative agents and external partner / channel network for optimal performance and growth.This role is a remote based role
– however, ideal locations include Seattle, Portland, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, or Las Vegas.Your responsibilitiesLead Region and District teams to develop and execute strategy to close profitable orders for following products:Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) and associated accessories, Static Transfer Switches (STS) and Power Distribution Units, (PDU), Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and Paralleling Switchgear (PSG).Collaborate with multiple ABB Sales Teams to drive sales thru electrical contractors, distribution, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) accounts.Partner with Channel Sales Managers and Value-Added Reseller Channel Managers.Negotiate Complex Contracts.Develop strategic customer relationships with key decision makers.Ensure all orders are in strict compliance with ABB Risk Review Process.Execute detailed account strategies in pursuit of top line growth across the region.Own accuracy of orders, commitments and convertible orders forecast serve as a focal point for sales forecasts.Be voice of the customer and promote a customer centric mindset.Provide clear vision and mission to sales team to ensure all members of organization understand clear, simple objectives and priorities.Ensure team members meet and/or exceed their personal annual sales goals.Development of sales team structure and allocation of sales resources to meet the business and customer expectations.Partner closely with Product Leaders & Customer Support organization to ensure there is alignment in our Inventory Turnover (ITO) and One Time Report (OTR) processes to ensure we are meeting our customer Critical to Quality (CTQs).Your backgroundBachelor’s degree preferably in engineering discipline.
