Warehouse Supervisor – Bonded

Position Summary
Responsible for the daily administration and operation of the warehouse. Oversee materials are received, stored, shipped and reported in accordance with established procedures. Direct and supervise warehouse staff. Review effectiveness of operating procedures, maintenance, space utilization and protection of equipment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Administer and oversee the daily operation of the warehouse including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment. Ensure overtime is maintained within budget allotted.
  • Oversee receipt, storage and shipment of materials and related reporting in accordance with established procedures. Ensure the accuracy of the inventory.
  • Account for all materials and supplies in the stores facilities. Audit goods received into warehouse.
  • Coach and mentor team members in the areas of productivity, quality, safety and iDC Core Values.
  • Ensure all routine paperwork is completed on time and are filled out accurately.
  • Assist the warehouse manager in maintaining a safe work environment for all team members.
  • Lead day-to-day activities of employees. Assign, monitor and review progress and accuracy of work, directs efforts and provides technical guidance on more complex issues. Provide input into hiring, firing and performance reviews.
  • Work with customer service to resolve warehouse related issues.
  • Minimum Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ supervisory / leadership experience strongly preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent, Associate’s degree a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and presentations)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of distribution methods and standard warehouse operating procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to apply technology-operating tools (WMS-Barcode Scanning, Track & Trace)
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to include driving KPIs, employee engagement / team building.
  • Strong ability to develop, coach, train, and mentor staff to success
  • Minimum of 1-year paid experience in the past three years in a licensed pharmacy or with a drug wholesaler, drug distributor or drug manufacturer, performing duties related to the distribution or dispensing of dangerous drugs or dangerous devices

    • Meet all of the prerequisites to take the examination required for licensure as a pharmacist by the board.

    • Successfully complete a training program approved by the board that, at a minimum, addresses each of the following subjects:

    o Knowledge and understanding of California law and federal law relating to the distribution of dangerous drugs and dangerous devices.

    o Knowledge and understanding of California law and federal law relating to the distribution of controlled substances.

    o Knowledge and understanding of quality control systems.

    o Knowledge and understanding of the United States Pharmacopoeia or federal Food and Drug Administration standards relating to the safe storage, handling, and transport of dangerous drugs and dangerous devices, dangerous drugs and dangerous devices in the third-party logistics provider’s place of business

    o Knowledge and understanding of prescription terminology, abbreviations, dosages, and format

    • Successfully complete a Live Scan

    • Minimum of 2 to 4 years in Logistics Management

    • Ability to obtain and maintain license as a Designated Representative

  • Ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks.
  • Ability to solve problems and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage budgets; read and interpret P&L statements; and prepare related management reports.
  • Intermediate PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPointAbility to multitask and coordinate multiple and often conflicting priorities.
  • Maintains an outgoing, positive, friendly, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills required
