Trox is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to assist with deploying devices to schools across the LA area in our new facility. This role plays an important part of our goal to bring technology to students; we are proud to serve thousands of school districts reaching 27 million students in North America.
Overview of responsibilities:
- Coordinating and supervising all warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery or product and securing the facility
- Managing and evaluating warehouse productivity and processes to ensure best service delivery
- Checking orders, bills, items received for delivery for accuracy
- Maintaining records, reporting relevant information and preparing any necessary documentation
- Picking and staging product for delivery
- Onboarding staff and off-boarding staff
- Participate in onsite interviews with management team
- Open/Close facility
- Inventory management
- Safety management and compliance; coordinating and maintaining equipment and any company vehicles
- Various administrative duties
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of warehouse operations and management; previous experience working a lead or supervisory role in a warehouse environment
- Three years of forklift experience
- Three years of previous shipping and receiving experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to successfully complete background check including fingerprinting
- Valid CA driver’s license and ability to drive company vans and box truck
