Join our Warehouse team that is growing both domestically and internationally.nn nnAs our Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, assigning, and directing work as well as training team members.
Additionally, you will ensure operations and responsibilities are carried out in accordance with Lineages policies, procedures, and applicable laws.nn nnResponsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisor: nn nnEstablish warehouse performance goals and achieve prescribed company objectives regarding cost, productivity, customer service, profits, and team membersnn nnManage operational procedures such as verify incoming and outgoing shipments, handle and disposition merchandise, and maintain warehouse inventorynn nnStudy production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment while maintaining time and production recordsnn nnTrack, communicate, and route reports to designated plant personnelnn nnCoordinate warehouse activities including sales, record control, and purchasing department to ensure availability of productsnn nnOperate facility in compliance with federal, state, and local statutes to establish and practice a culture of safety among the team members at all timenn nnAppraise performance and provide leadership guidance to shift supervisornn nnRequired Qualifications of the Warehouse Supervisor: nn nn4+ years of warehouse or shipping management experiencenn nnKnowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) softwarenn nnAbility to work different shifts as necessary including occasional to frequent overtimenn nnStrong written and verbal communication and presentation skillsnn nnWork Environment nn nnCold storage warehouse with temperatures between -10 and 34 degreesnn nnAppropriate work gear will be providednn nnWarehouse bays are kept at 32 degrees (and below zero in certain areas)nn nnAbility to withstand cold storage temperatures for extended periods of time (warm gear provided by company)nn nnNoise level varies at times and it can be loudnn nnWhy Lineage nn nnThis is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage!
