Job Description Job Title: Warehouse Manager year Classification: Exempt (pertains to U.S.

only) Date: October 29, 2021 GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing and directing all aspects of business and operations to obtain optimum efficiency, manufacturing, delivery, and warehouse operations including a team of salary and hourly associates.

The Warehouse Manager is also a role model for abiding by and holding others accountable for The Code of Business Conduct and overall business practices.

Leads by example with the highest level of integrity.

The Warehouse Manager must have day, evening and weekend availability to work.

II.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES 1.

Organize, assign, and evaluate work of employees including delivery drivers 2.

Hire or has major influence in hiring new employees 3.

Leads the Receiving and in-store operations to ensure achievement of business goals in expenses, payroll, inventory shrinkage and Associate morale 4.

Leads receiving and delivery processes in training, assists in action plans to improve performance and ensures daily execution.

Leads receiving and deluxing of merchandise throughout the unit 6.

Develops partnership with Logistics Services’, Distribution Centers and Product Returns 7.

Initiate and communicate disciplinary action when needed.

8.

Serves as a Key carrier and accepts overall 4 wall accountability 9.

Ensures customer satisfaction by maintaining delivery schedule and a professional attitude 10.

Understands store tasks including unloading trucks, loading customer vehicles, & moving product on the sales floor 11.

Promote and drive safety daily in the workplace, creating a safe work environment for associates 12.

Provide consistent communication to associates and counterparts 13.

Drive high levels of quality in customer deliveries and inventory integrity within the building 14.

Maintain levels of associate engagement throughout the operation 15.

Lead and oversee associates performing activities including; unloading and stocking of inbound shipments, order selection and shipping of outbound orders, cycle counting, and final mile delivery services to our customers 16.

Ensure high levels of cleanliness are maintained in our sites 17.

Ensure integrity of inventory and confirm that cycle counts are completed daily and accurately 18.

Maintain security of warehouse and safety of all associates and equipment, reporting any accidents and conveying any issues to management 19.

Performs duties including routing, staging, and customer contact 20.

Maintains facilities and housekeeping 21.

Understands and communicates activities/trends in unit and unique local issues to management 22.

Performs other duties as assigned III.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS 1.

3 years experience in distribution management distribution/warehouse environment 2.

A strong background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is required 3.

Previous experience working in a WMS environment is preferred but not required 4.

Strong understanding of Logistics and Warehousing 5.

Strong digital literacy to include expertise in Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook 6.

Good interactive people skills with ability to effectively communicate to different level of the organization 7.

Hands on experience leading a team, including selection, training, coaching, and performance management 8.

Material Handling Equipment Certification 9.

Experience leading a team of delivery drivers 10.

Ability to perform under pressure and pro-actively plan IV.

WORKING CONDITIONS 1.

General climate controlled office environment within a warehouse environment .

2.

Prolonged sitting and repetitive motion due to extended computer use.

3.

Frequent exposure to production, distribution area working conditions, including noise, and dust exposure and lift truck traffic.

4.

Stress related to conflicting priorities and meeting schedule deadlines.

PHYSICAL & COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS 1.

Ability to see, and proficiently speak, hear, write, and understand English.

2.

Sustained attention to detail.

3.

Ability to read and analyze data and other written information.

4.

Moderate physical exertion.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00
