Project CoordinatorVital Research has an immediate need for an organized and dedicated Project Coordinator to join our team on a temporary, 5-month research project starting August 30, 2021.
This person oversees the operation and execution of a large-scale survey research project under the direct supervision of the Research Manager.
The project coordinator makes sure that the appropriate staff, equipment, and materials are on hand to complete work on time and according to project guidelines.
By interfacing with field interviewers and clients based in Minnesota, project coordinators ensure the smooth operation of project activities, including safety, work quality, logistics, project deliverables, and employee relations.Responsibilities:* Oversee a project team of 68 inclusive of Research Assistants, Quality Assurance Mentors, and Field Interviewers.
The team is based in both Minnesota and California.* Serve as a first point of contact on the project and reiterate protocol, give direction, and problem solve.* Use Microsoft Access to monitor and track project activities.* Perform verification of the work performed.* Ensure sufficient staffing levels, on-time delivery of services, and the overall quality and performance of work according to project specifications.* Communicate and support field staff, supervising the scheduling of interviews with facilities, and the assignment of interviewers and Quality Assurance Mentors.* Comply with confidentiality, federal HIPAA regulations, and adhere to data security and safety requirements.* Interact with clients and receive feedback regarding the quality of work performed by field interviewers.* Assist with timely completion of project related reports summarizing field worker hours.* Provide customer service support directly to a territory of clients.* Other related duties as assigned.Requirements:* Bachelor’s degree in social science or a relevant field.* A minimum of 2 years of coordination experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.* Must be available M-F, 5:30 a.M.
– 2:30 p.M.
PST (averaging 40 hours/week; as needed).* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Access.* Possess a willingness to interact with workers and clients, as well as the ability to support functions such as scheduling and reporting.* Ability to analyze complex projects, identify inefficiencies, and coordinate staff and resources to meet client expectations and ensure the timely completion of deliverables.* Understand the principles of customer service and how to apply those principles to resolve complaints, meet expectations, and ensure overall customer satisfaction.* Aptitude to multi-task, take direction, adhere to strict deadlines, and change direction in response to unpredictable work situations.* Strong interpersonal and listening skills when communicating with workers and clients.
This includes the ability to resolve interpersonal conflicts and hear complaints without becoming defensive.* Ability to motivate and provide functional direction.* Maintain clear, accurate, and comprehensive records.* Adhere to data security and privacy protocols.Preferred Experience:* Research experience strongly preferred.* Basic knowledge of health care terminology highly desired.Vital Research considers the health and safety of its clients and team members as its highest priorities.
