Vice President, Securities, Data Management

Responsibilities
Create and maintain accurate and complete Security Master records and related data within Oaktree’s systems by executing prescribed procedures and targeted data maintenance tasks.

Execute reviews and quality control processes to ensure data accuracy.

Process or approve exception queue breaks.

Coordinating and working closely with Oaktree business units, data owners, data vendors, gold copy sources to ensure accuracy and completeness of data, resolution of reconciliation items and timely and accurate resolution of data issues.

Deliver high level service to Data Management clients and meet SLAs consistently.

Engage in strategizing, designing new routines and controls to address business needs and weaknesses in current processes.

Work closely with IT team to develop specifications, test and enhance tools / applications necessary to keep data accurate and complete in a timely manner.

Managing/executing ad hoc projects meeting specified deadlines.

Monitor and control workflow to maximize BPO resources.

Train BPO resources as needed.

Perform and support pricing operations.

Qualifications
10-15 years of experience in financial services, security master operations, investment management middle office, back office and/or pricing operations.

Deep knowledge of security master characteristics of debt, equity and derivative asset classes.

Accounting experience, knowledge of downstream and upstream implications to financial statements of changes to security master attributes.

Knowledge of trade processing and settlement operations.

Advanced Excel and SQL skills are a must.

Geneva experience is a plus.

Experience in Bloomberg (APIs) is a plus
