In Lending Services, we document and fund all loans for First Republic.

We’re responsible for servicing bank and investor loan portfolios, as well as responding to client and loan team inquiries.

The team also supports sales staff in workflow processes, product development, training and compliance.

Additionally, we support lending-based systems and vendors and manage technology projects across First Republic product lines.

Responsible for overseeing the residential loan servicing operation, vault operation including trailing documents, for both on-going activities and on a strategic level.

This involves recommending and implementing strategies for short and long term business growth, process improvements at all levels, and ensuring that regulatory guidelines, investor and FRB client expectations are met or exceeded.

Also responsible for building, maintaining and reporting staffing models and operating metrics to track production trends that affect company productivity and profitability.

Functions reporting to this position include mortgage and HELOC onboarding, loan servicing, client service and investor reporting.

The Vice President, Residential Loan Servicing also oversees risks and controls within the operation, including internal controls, business continuity, vendor management, and project management including CORE conversion, with the overall goal to identify and evaluate process risks while optimizing resource opportunities to contribute to company growth.

The ideal candidate is a visionary who has experience in leading and working with cross functional teams and has demonstrated the ability to consult and work with various levels of management, analyze business needs, provide recommendations and develop appropriate strategies.

What you’ll do as a Vice President, Residential Loan Servicing:
Lead creative initiatives to support growth and efficiencies within the business model.

Development, implementation and maintenance of risk management models for servicing functions.  Translate creative concepts into actionable plans to meet the needs of the department.

Establishment of processes and controls development of KPI / KRI reports for management.

Ensure optimization of vendor-provided services.

Meet or exceed deliverables from auditors, investors, rating agencies and examiners.

Meet or exceed expectations from internal and external clients.

Manage daily work to meet or exceed regulatory standards (i.e.

investor reporting to Reg AB, escrows to RESPA, flood coverage to NFIP, statement production to CFPB, ACD request coverage to established SLA, etc.).

Ensure adequate redundancy in staff / job knowledge.

Implement and maintain quantitative and qualitative metrics for monitoring and measuring operating results.

Ensure that policy, procedure and training documentation is up to date.

Coach, train and develop staff, lead and management employees.

Support VP
– Residential Lending in global initiatives.

Manage staff, deliverables and group goals inline with overall company policies and strategy.
