We hire really smart people who are incredibly curious and passionate about alleviating customer’s pain, but also about changing people’s lives through how they do their job.n nThe VP of Marketing at Phocas Software is an executive management role working closely with leadership members in product, business development and sales and covers a wide range of marketing expertise from demand generation to branding, content marketing, product marketing and lead generation.n nThis role is strategic, quantitative and creative in its function combining team leadership and results-oriented activity that increases our market position and demand generation.

This VP of Marketing is primarily responsible for growth, deploying campaigns that drive visibility and performance, while making rapid optimizations to provide clarity and focus.n nOur existing marketing approach is working great, but we’re growing fast.

That growth is an exciting challenge.

What we need is some new ideas from someone willing to dig deeper to understand our prospects needs and build the next level of strategy to fuel this growth in the US market.n n Key Responsibilitiesn Be the leader who can fill the gaps in the marketing team (media, thought leadership, brand building, display advertising and remarketing, account based marketing) to drive our efforts for greater impact and build out a targeted strategy for growth in the US.

Be part of our senior leadership team to identify and profile prospect accounts using in-depth understanding of vertical markets and Phocas Software’s unique solutions.

Be a passionate and driven leader who is willing to face competition head on to gain an edge in a noisy market.

Rally and provide direction to our US-based marketing team, contractors, agencies and our global marketing.

Ensure that team members are targeting appropriate prospects and focusing on the right activities based on qualified leads/ prospects.

Understand how to create and bring to life great integrated marketing programs to connect with our target market to address their pain points.

Develop volume demand generation and track lead funnel performance and provide ongoing analysis.

Bring experience of brand building strategies to the table.

Enjoy problem-solving, want the ability to think creatively and love the satisfaction of awesome execution.

Apply agile methodologies in order to rapidly conceptualize, execute and adjust to complex business landscape.n n n Requirementsn Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or relevant area of study.

10+ years of B2B marketing experience leading SaaS/ software business(es) through rapid growth in the US.

5+ years leading and performance management of marketing teams in a software company.

Experience in directly driving and contributing to an organization’s YoY growth rates.

Demonstrated history in improving sales productivity, strategy planning and sales enablement.

Ability to assess current marketing programs/ strategy in US and execute quickly to optimize.

Able to identify what is successful/ unsuccessful in the marketing mix and execute on that.

Proven track record of building successful demand generation and understands research-led, user persona-curated journeys to convert.

Experience in getting high volumes of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) via a mix of partner, digital ads (paid, earned and owned), traditional advertising, sponsorships etc.

Experience working in ERP software eco-system or experience working within our key verticals (manufacturing, retail, wholesale distribution).

Understanding of popular B2B Martech.

Proficiency with marketing automation software (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot).

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs.
