About the VP of Marketing Role:

H Code is looking for a Vice President of Marketing, who will lead the Marketing team, drive the marketing of H Code and B Code solutions to our current and prospective clients.

Reporting to the COO, this role will be directly responsible for developing and driving our company and product positioning, messaging and thought leadership.

This role will also focus on developing and executing a holistic PR strategy that will drive the Company brand in the market.

You will partner with executive leadership, sales and account management teams to promote existing and new products to clients through strategic product planning with the objective of accelerating growth, driving client satisfaction and promoting the H Code and B Code brands, in addition to future products and brands the Company plans to launch.

You will be responsible for defining the roadmap of our new product launch strategy, pinpoint new avenues to market and capitalize on client trends.

You will serve as the primary liaison between marketing, communications, business development, and client experience to ensure the achievement of growth, revenue goals and business objectives.

Location: we’re currently remote due to COVID-19 but this role will be based in Los Angeles or New York.

Key Responsibilities:
Assume end-to-end ownership of marketing (both strategic vision and tactical execution) for current H Code and B Code categories as well as new categories to come in 2021 and 2022 while defining the vision and strategy of the Marketing team Foster the growth of H Code’s intelligence center through mentorship and development of the current team while ensuring that the product is being utilized to its full potential.

Drive PR initiatives to help drive H Code and B Code’s place in the marketplace leaders in the space Work closely with the Leadership and Sales teams to help drive the product launch and go-to-market strategy for new product lines to effectively position our products and solutions and differentiate our offerings from our competition Lead the strategy, design and launch campaigns designed to create measurable pipeline impact and impact brand awareness with clients Conduct competitive research to better understand the market and market segments, and implement communications strategy for differentiation Own product launch campaigns and initiatives, including insights-based positioning, messaging and tactics to drive awareness & adoption (website, PR, blog, email, social, in-product messaging, paid channels, videos, customer testimonials, white papers, etc.) Clearly and persuasively communicate H Code’s vision and unique product positioning and benefits to a varied set of client audiences As the leader of the marketing team, actively participate in shaping the continued evolution of H Code’s marketing organization and provide input on the growth of the business and align revenue strategy with overall company objectives Keep company and marketing organization up to date on market trends and market landscape.

Job Requirements/Qualifications Needed:
15+ years experience in the product marketing and management discipline, leading product marketing strategy across all marketing channels, ideally with a background in technology, media, advertising or data Experience leading projects that directly impact multicultural audiences Prior experience preferred in product management, strategy, media, sales, and B2B product marketing Demonstrated record of success in designing the strategy and leading the execution of multiple successful marketing programs, at a high growth company with multiple product lines and distribution channels.

Thorough understanding of product marketing processes and operations 5+ years management experience (leading multiple client facing teams) Must have demonstrated effective collaboration and coalition building in matrixed or highly cross-functional business settings across technical and non-technical teams Strong understanding, experience and knowledge of the digital media landscape preferred Experience leading and executing substantive competitive analysis Proven history of meeting and exceeding performance goals Strong analytical skills, ability to tie detailed analysis and data-driven recommendations to larger strategy with an in depth understanding of market conditions, customer needs and competitive offerings desired Working knowledge of sales cycles and ability to navigate the sales process with multiple stakeholders and decision makers with positive results Strategic thinker with ability to synthesize competitive trends, market data, and customer insights into a plan of action Comfortable with ambiguity and change Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills.

Able to weigh multiple, sometimes conflicting points-of-view and drive a decision Ability to collaborate and influence, and also be a team player Ability to manage and plan at both the strategic and operational levels and to consistently meet or exceed planned objectives Highly creative with ability to generate ideas and execute against them Articulate and very skilled at telling a written or visual story in a simple straightforward way
