Vice President of Marketing

Our consumer-technology DTC start-up client is hiring for a VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for nurturing and developing brand identity, building marketing strategy, and overseeing all aspects of D2C and B2B growth.

As the leader on the marketing team, you’ll be responsible for creating and executing strategies across a variety of platforms and channels.

You’re a marketing expert, and have a unique ability to develop a brand and marketing strategy that will articulate our value proposition of providing better oral hygiene.

Responsibilities:
– Develop, execute, oversee and own the marketing strategy for the D2C and B2B businesses.

– Manage, develop and grow the marketing team.

– Act as a leader on the executive team, working with Product, Engineering and Customer Success to ensure that we’re aligned and working within brand guidelines and serving marketing goals.

– Oversee all elements of branding and content including:
– Lead the thinking, concepting and execution on the brand identity and marketing collaterals, internally as well as driving external vendors.

– Create and maintain the brand standards, protecting our assets to ensure consistent messaging internally and externally, wherever the company appears.

– Lead content strategy and execution across social media platforms.

– Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Design teams to bring our brand to life through our physical products, creating magical customer experiences.

Requirements:
– 7-10 Years plus experience in brand strategy and/or marketing.

– A strong understanding of the craft and methodologies of brand strategy and development, brand design and visual expression, marketing communications and services, business, especially around technology, social, digital and mobile practices.

– Accomplished brand/marketing strategy articulation – with an impressive history in executing in cross functional team environments in matrix organizations.

– Internationally attune and strong empathy with locally driven marketing.

– Excellent public speaking and presenting skills.
