nnThe Vice President, Marketing is responsible for developing and executing the U.S.

marketing strategy and building a high performing marketing team to maximize the commercial success of neratinib.nn nnMajor Duties/Responsibilitiesnn nnDevelop and execute the neratinib brand plan to exceed sales goalsAttract, retain, develop and lead the marketing team to maximize commercial successLead the business (brand) planning process and ensure goals and initiatives are achievedEnsure the organization has the capabilities to execute current and long-term business plansLead complex cross functional initiatives that are high exposure and high impactWork collaboratively with Sales, Market Access, Patient Advocacy, Medical Affairs, Finance and Commercial Planning / Analytics to accomplish goals and drive strong growthCommission market research and analysis to optimize decision making and market intelligenceSuccessfully develop and manage budgets while setting metrics to assess impact of initiativesCreate a strong partnership between sales and marketing teams to maximize resultsEnsure the activities under his/her responsibilities are in line with the company policies and proceduresChampion the promotional review committee process with legal and regulatoryHelp to drive and support an engaging and inspiring cultureEnsure strict adherence to compliance guidelines and a culture of doing the right thingOther duties as assignednn nnSkills & Abilitiesnn nnProven ability to lead, develop and motivate a high performing marketing organization.Proven ability to successfully launch products and new indicationsProven ability to work cross functionally and manage projects simultaneouslyExcellent presentation, communication and negotiation skillsAbility to develop innovative and impactful marketing and communication programs while managing external partners and agenciesExcellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to create a team environmentSelf-motivated team player with the ability to proactively identify and prioritize problems and opportunities, maintain focus on big picture, and design effective solutions and action plansStrong ability to multi-task and work toward fixed deadlines in a fast pace and demanding environmentExcellent clinical, financial, and analytical skills and acumenEntrepreneurial mindsetnn nnProven success in developing and executing lifecycle managementAbility to motivate and inspire large teams or organizationsnn nnEducation & Professional Experiencenn nnEducationnn nnBachelor’s degree requiredAdvanced degree preferred (MBA or Master’s equivalent)nn nnExperiencenn nn15+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry with at least 8 years in a commercial oncology roleHead of Marketing experienceLaunch experience in breast cancer highly preferredProven track record of resultsnn nnThe preferred job location is San Francisco/Los Angeles.nn
