About Your Role
RealtyMogul is seeking a Vice President, Investments Underwriting Manager to join our Commercial Real Estate Team. Your role will be to manage the underwriting team to ensure the highest quality of due diligence for RealtyMogul investors. Your impact will be immediate in successfully scaling RealtyMogul as the leading online real estate investment platform.
We are located in Los Angeles, CA and residence in Los Angeles is preferable, but we would consider a remote location for the perfect fit.

What You’ll Do:
- Manage a growing underwriting team based mostly in Los Angeles.
- Ensure that all documentation is present to transact commercial real estate offerings.
- Represent RealtyMogul with commercial real estate operators in the underwriting and closing process.
- Coordinate between the originations, operation, legal and real estate sponsors to launch real estate offerings on the RealtyMogul platform.
- Report directly to the Chief Investment Officer
- Review financial models to verify projected returns.
Who You Are:
- Demonstrated management experience. Five years of experience managing a team.
- Hyper attention to detail. You never miss a period and details come naturally to you.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – you are accustomed to wrangling multiple parties and being the nucleus to drive deals to the finish line.
- At least ten years of commercial real estate underwriting experience required.
- Expertise across multiple asset classes including residential, office, retail and industrial.
- Development experience is helpful.
- Experience with closing process and negotiating transactional legal documents preferred.
- Relevant work experience in investment management or investment administration.
- Experience navigating multiple software platforms including Argus.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well with people – within the team and with our clients.
