Vice President, Global Business Group, Entertainment and Tech

Facebook is seeking an experienced Vice President with proven success managing a team across large-scale, global advertisers to lead our Entertainment and Tech portfolio in the US. This leader must have experience transforming traditional partners/industries, strong expertise navigating cross functional partnerships and the ability to manage a large, distributed team in a dynamic environment. Ultimately, the role is to drive growth across Facebook for the Entertainment and Tech categories by strategically supporting client and agency priorities and elevating the unique role Facebook plays in their success. A high degree of emphasis will be placed on strategy development and identifying key trends and business drivers to further develop Facebook’s role within these focus categories and similar categories across the business. Ideal candidates will have a business development background as well as extensive experience selling marketing solutions across digital and traditional media. This is a full-time position.
  • Drive growth across Entertainment and Tech categories by exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Develop and manage a team of high-performing managers: Build and maintain a world-class, inclusive, high-performing team, with a strong culture.
  • Build, train and maintain a diverse, high-performing team to support established and emerging partners.
  • Lead strategy across portfolio: Identify points of commonality, efficiency and opportunities across the business globally.
  • Increase the effectiveness of the team by recognizing, implementing and scaling opportunities for new strategies and approaches.
  • Serve as a member of the North America leadership team and the Global Client leadership team, significantly contributing and leading in both forums.
  • Work cross-functionally with key internal executives across Facebook Inc.
  • 20+ years of marketing and sales experience
  • Proven record of leading a diverse team across geographical regions. Experience building high performing, inclusive teams
  • Strategic thinking. Experience setting strategic vision for the team, to contribute to the overall strategic vision for the larger organization
  • Management experience and skills with proven experience managing experienced cross-functional teams and influence other teams in a highly-matrixed company
  • Experience demonstrating thoughtful risk-taking, challenging the status quo and confidently driving innovation for maximum impact on clients and the business
  • Experience executing D&I actions, accountability and resources across programs in partnership with the rest of the Global Sales team
  • Experience creating, implementing and executing innovative Diversity solutions using business acumen and industry expertise while also leveraging and amplifying existing programming in place across the company
  • Cross Group Collaboration. Experience successfully working in a highly collaborative manner across a variety of business functions and geographies
  • C-Suite Relationships. Experience forging relationships with the c-suite and key stakeholders across large-scale, global companies
