Tech Leads are responsible for establishing the technical vision with Solution Architects and managing developers to turn the vision into reality with an on-time and quality implementation.
They support concept development, product planning/estimation, and work with Product Managers to drive product development as a critical member of a product leadership team.
They are expected to have full stack development experience utilizing agile development techniques/methodologies.
Job Requirements and Preferences : Basic Qualifications : Minimum Degree Required : Bachelor Degree Additional Educational Requirements : In lieu of a Bachelor Degree, 12 years of professional experience involving technology-focused process improvements, transformations, and/or system implementations.
Minimum Years of Experience : 5 year(s) years of experience in software development with at last 1 year leading developers in delivery of software products.
Preferred Qualifications : Degree Preferred : Master Degree Preferred Knowledge/Skills : Demonstrates intimate knowledge and/or a proven record of success in modern software engineering approaches, technologies, and tools.
An effective Manager of Data Integration by helping the team on a whole through the following: Working with PMs, BAs and managing a team of technical ETL/ELT developers to build data models and integration services; Having knowledge of data architecture and data management; Having knowledge of database fundamentals and data modeling; Having an understanding of ODS, data warehouse, data mart, and data cube, and database technologies; Having the ability to recognize and identify patterns in data relationships from disparate systems; Analyzing source systems and develop processes to extract, transform and load (ETL/ELT) this data into the target platforms; Having experience in building complex, highly scalable, high volume and low latency analytics solutions; Having exposure to REST, Object Oriented Design, various design patterns, micro services, behavior driven development, Test Driven Design (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD), and everyday code push to production, etc.; Having extensive experience with RDBMS, NoSQL and/or Big Data technologies; Creating data integration using iPaaS tools, ADF, Snap Logic etc., and work with the team and vendor to create and evolve scalable data integration solutions; Understanding, creating and implementing process design and target data models; Developing, test and debug and document ETL and data integration process.
Confirm data integrity of sensitive data; Addressing performance, high availability, high scalability and data quality issues; Confirming solutions comply with current standards as defined by the PwC Digital team; Delivering technical guidance to the team, including hands-on development as necessary; Managing and grow resources to create a high-performance team environment; Being thought leader for driving innovation and leveraging technology for creative integration solutions; and, Preserving an ongoing, continuous education process, leveraging emerging integration tool’s capabilities.
Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in technical lead roles involving the following areas: Communicating, verbally and written, with both business and technical stakeholders to achieve product engineering objectives; Managing rapid-prototyping efforts with new and emerging technologies leveraging agile development techniques; Designing successful technical/integration architectures for large-scale platforms with a mix of 3rd party vendor, open-source, custom software, including the documentation of technical assumptions and decisions; Having experience working with Big Data platforms; Having experience in building services using: Spring/Spring Boot, Java 8, REST APIs using JSON, Swagger, React.js/npm, Docker/Cloud Foundry/Public Cloud, Git, CI, CD, and Cassandra; Having experience with streaming technologies like Kafka, EventHub, Rabbit MQ, etc.; Having experience with Python, Spark and SQL; Having experience with Databricks, Synapse and CosmosDB; and, Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
