Facebook is seeking a Unscripted Development Manager.
The ideal candidate is a creative leader with experience in unscripted (development & current) of various genres with a passion for content, culture and idea generation, and a proven ability to work quickly under pressure while managing a high volume of projects.
This role requires impeccable organizational and cross functional skills, excellent entertainment industry relationships, and a working understanding of new and emerging platforms.
- Manage the development and production of original video content and specials.
Manage multiple projects in various stages of development from pitch, development, negotiations, production, delivery and publishing stages
- Key creative stakeholder with other departments including but not limited to: marketing, business affairs, legal, PR, creative, production, product, and post-production teams
- Preparing materials for greenlight, including decks, sizzles, presentations, etc.
- Idea generator: driving internal brainstorms, proactively sourcing pitches, preparing briefs, presentations and trackers for internal and external stakeholders
- researching trends, and proactively using data and insights to inform creative strategy and assess performance
- Serve as subject matter expert, mastering and synthesizing creative best practices across the Facebook Family of Apps, and providing thought leadership to both internal and external partners
- Collaborate on distribution, social, and marketing strategy
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years experience in development and/or current programming in network, studio, or showrunning roles
- Experience overseeing development, production, and post production of unscripted shows
- Experience managing and prioritizing a high volume of projects simultaneously with competing timelines
