Apply today!Role ResponsibilitiesPartners with the Head of People Operations to refine and execute the strategy for the Organizational Development team and deliver a portfolio of team effectiveness, organization design, talent management, and other culture initiatives in support of TuSimple’s strategic and culture objectives.Partners with the Business HR team and leadership to identify Organizational Development priorities & objectives, and diagnose organizational/team challenges.

Architects Organizational Development solutions to accelerate effectiveness and capability building, including tools, trainings, programs, etc.

for onboarding, talent assessment, gap analysis, succession planning, career development, change management, effective communication, etc.

Customizes Organizational Development solutions to specific department requirements, as necessary.Designs, develops, and implements organization-wide and department-specific leadership development interventions, including training, assessments, programs, coaching, etc.

Provides 1-on-1 coaching and mentorship for senior leaders.Develops and deploys analytical tools to measure the impact and effectiveness of various Organization Development initiatives across the organization.

Utilizes data to enhance programs and strengthen alignment with organizational objectives.Leverages technology to provide meaningful and easily accessible development that is applicable and relevant across diverse employee profiles.Oversees the talent-specific aspects of the HRIS system.

Regularly gathers feedback on HRIS systems’ talent tools, processes, and procedures with focus on ways to optimize and enhance the customer experience.

Partners with the head of Total Rewards to spearhead the identification, prioritization, development, testing, and implementation of system enhancements and applicable training, as it relates to the functional areas of Organizational Development.Operates as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Organizational Design, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Engagement, Culture, Coaching, Organizational and Team Effectiveness, and Change Management.Stays abreast of new and evolving Organizational Development approaches, trends, best practices, tools and industry specific information through research and networking.

Provides thought leadership, insights, and recommendations for optimizing and streamlining throughout the organization.Facilitates the development and Organizational Development capabilities of the Business HR team through training, mentoring, coaching, and consulting.In collaboration with all People Operations teams, ensures connectivity across the entire employee lifecycle to create a compelling, meaningful, and aligned employee experience weaving inclusion, diversity, equity, and action throughout.Provides strong leadership in the recruitment, training, and development of top-quality talent, ensuring the high level of performance and productivity.

Builds morale, motivates, and instills productivity and teamwork, creates and promotes a positive and collaborative work environment.

Creates a culture of continuous improvement for processes, systems, data, training, people, etc.Other duties as assigned.Experience & Skills RequiredBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Education, Management, Business, or related field.10 years experience in Human Resources, including 5 years experience with designing, developing and executing organization wide talent programs with emphasis: in workforce & succession planning, talent development, coaching, people analytics, change management, group dynamics & team effectiveness, andorganization design.2 years of experience leading a team of talent and technical training professionals.Preferred Skills and ExperienceMaster’s Degree + in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Education, Management, or related field.SPHR, ODCP, ODCC, and/or Coaching Certification.Experience working with highly technical teams.Experience working in a start-up environment.Technical/Specialized SkillsDeep understanding of learning theories and development methods and trends for diverse levels of employees.Proven ability and experience with Use and familiarity with multiple change, team building, strategy, succession planning and competency modelStrong ability to diagnose internal customer needs and identify or develop talent management solutions to meet those needsProven ability to develop, design, implement, and measure talent management systems, processes, and tools (e.G.

performance management, competency models, assessments, employee engagement, succession planning, development, etc.)Demonstrated success with aligning organization, group, and department initiatives with leadership development that creates and implements a vision of cultural transformation in a systematic way.Expertise with and ability to facilitate large-scale, organization wide change management initiatives.Proven success with building capabilities among leaders and employees that develop talent and support organizational strategy and objectives including individual development plans for high potential employees and key contributors.Deep knowledge of and ability to evaluate, ascertain, and implement assessment tools, as appropriate for Organizational and Leadership development needs.
