Transportation Supervisor

Overview: We are experts in the beer, wine, and spirits industry looking for individuals to join our safety-minded, family-based culture.The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for the role.

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicants skills and prior relevant experience.Salary Range: $51-64,000This position is eligible for health care benefits, life insurance, time off benefits and participation in the Companys 401(k) planAssist with overall management and development of the transportation department with regards to Training, Scheduling, Roadnet Routing, Equipment, and Driver Check In including: Responsibilities: Maintain an understanding of all transportation positions and employment needs within the department.Teach proper procedures for handling credit problems while delivering to customers.Maintain compliance with company policies and work rules.Improve security techniques to prevent product breakage.Deliver training and coaching to reduce driver created delays.Assist dispatcher in establishing continuity of driver, route, and truck.Know and understand the Roadnet routing program.Able and prepared to assist with routing whenever necessary.Know, understand, and maintain knowledge of DOT regulations, requirements, and rules.Coordinate with Transportation Manager to provide proper equipment availability to include trucks and all delivery accessories.Maintain minimal downtime due to mechanical failure or unavailability of delivery equipment.Supervise weekly shuttle of trucks to repair facility.Prompt review of vehicle condition reports.

Qualifications: College degree preferredHigh School Diploma or GED requiredUnderstand current DOT regulations, requirements, and rules.5 years of supervisory experience preferredBasic computer knowledge required/ extensive computer experience preferredSAP Experience beneficial but not required EEO Statement: Breakthru Beverage Group is an equal opportunity employer.
