Transportation Manager

ConcertoPACE Los Angeles is looking for an energic and enthusiastic Transportation Manager who will manage all transportation services and personnel.

You will serve on the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to contribute to the plan of care for each enrolled participant and provide training and direction to staff, participants, and caregivers in areas of transportation service delivery.(br((br(You will:(br((br(* Monitor the safety and maintenance of vehicles and equipment and is responsible for the supervision and training of drivers.(br(* Ensure all participants are transported safely to and from the PACE center, outside medical appointments, and other offsite activities.(br(* Coordinate with the IDT, dispatchers, and drivers to deliver any equipment, medication, or meals to participants as needed.(br(* Develop improve processes to enhance access to care, participant safety, comply with DHCS/CMS regulations, and promote excellent participant satisfaction.(br(* Oversee all transportation activities including personnel management, dispatch, and maintenance to ensure participant access to center and medical services.

Accountable for achieving a high degree of on-time performance, participant satisfaction, and safety.(br(* Serve as an active participant of the IDT, contributing to participant care plans.

Provide feedback to the IDT from drivers’ daily experiences with participants and make recommendations to update care plans to improve care for participants.(br(* Supervise and manage direct reports.

Perform management functions including hiring, training, supervising, mentoring and goal setting.(br(* Provide initial and ongoing training for drivers on topics including routing, participants loading and unloading, transportation policies, and equipment.

Investigate accidents and/or incidents, complete necessary documentation and make appropriate notifications.(br(* Support Growth and Enrollment team by transporting prospective participants for tours of the PACE center.(br(* Complete and submit all required documentation in a timely manner, including transportation logs, fuel cards, vehicle maintenance and mileage records.(br(* Follow PACE policies and procedures and participate in any required quality improvement activities, staff training and meetings.(br(* Develop and improve processes for transportation to meet DHCS/CMS guidelines.(br(* Coordinate with contracted providers as needed.(br((br(Requirements(br((br(
· High school diploma or GED required.(br((br(
· Requires valid state driver’s license and good driving record.

Must maintain current automobile insurance.(br((br(
· A minimum of two years’ experience in a transportation environment preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.(br((br(
· A minimum of one-year prior experience working with the frail or elderly is required.(br((br(
· Must be computer proficient and possess experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.(br((br(
· Must be able to analyze data and compile accurate reports to maximize resources for Transportation Services at the center.(br((br(
· Knowledge of how to use and maintain equipment i.e., vehicles, lifts, tie-downs, etc.(br((br(
· Organized, detail-oriented, diplomatic, proactive, self-motivated, dependable, and driven by excellence.(br((br(
· Ability to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.(br((br(
