Our Transaction Management team helps clients strategize, analyze, and execute real estate transactions to meet their business and occupancy needs. Our Transaction Manager will manage the financial analysis and execution details for competitive lease and/or capital transactions while fostering client relationships and business growth. S/He will be responsible for overseeing and preparing regular reporting, budgets, cash flow forecasts, memorandum documenting client issues, opportunities and strategic planning. S/He will work independently on straightforward transactions or in a support role on more complex transactions. S/He will also work on and will be asked to direct special projects/assignments as needed.
• Assume key analyst and transaction responsibilities for a large, international strategic client
• Interface with brokerage leads and client leads frequently to ensure compliance with account processes and templates
• Manage account KPI documentation and scoring compliance
• Provide advice on client transactions
• Manage required financial analysis and account process documentation
• Manage account commission forecasting and invoices; input and review data in internal financial tracking system for accuracy and assure it is updated regularly
• Manage research and market data requests including preparation client’s template Broker Opinion of Value
• Partner with brokerage to provide guidance of client processes related market data and reports, site selection and site evaluation, requests for proposals (RFP’s), assist as needed with the negotiation of letters of intent, leases, purchase and sale agreements
• Actively monitor progress of assigned transactions and ensure timely progress updates from client and brokerage. Flag and resolve any obstacles to successful delivery
• Participate in regular client meetings and conference calls
• Work directly with clients and brokerage team members to resolve financial model, transaction and landlord issues
• Independently manage and execute straightforward transactions with high level of proficiency and knowledge
• Improve client transaction management processes
• Assist with routine presentation preparation
• Any and all other transaction management duties and tasks assigned.
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics Real Estate or related quantitative field.
• 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience with at least 1 year as a Transaction Manager or real estate manager
• Real estate brokerage or salesperson license
• Demonstrated analytical ability, both financial and qualitative
• Advanced computer skills (MS Office, including expertise in Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook)
• Presentation skills
• Experience modeling complex occupancy scenarios, including multi-facility consolidations, city plans and metro area consolidations
