Location: REMOTEDescription: An independently owned natural/specialty foods chain in the mid-west is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to assist the Meat Mgr.
with total operations of the department to include seafood.
The ideal candidate will have a 3 to 5 year background meat cutting with all traditional meat/chicken/pork varieties, case prep, wrapping, merchandising and customer service.
This person will be responsible for running the Meat/Seafood department when the Meat Mgr.
is off duty and in charge of department conditions and over-all appearance, as well as sanitation.An excellent opportunity for a professional cutter to move up to Mgmt.
and on to a Meat Mgr.
position and above.
Supermarket experience is required.
