Territory Sales Manager – West

The North American Headquarters for Sofidel America is in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania with additional plants operating in six states (Florida, Wisconsin, Nevada, Oklahoma, Ohio, and Mississippi) as a tissue paper manufacturer for Consumer and Away-from-Home products.
We are currently looking for a Territory Sales Manager – West for our Southern California or Phoenix, AZ territories.
The Territory Sales Manager will work in close cooperation with the Sales Director and the Marketing and Sales teams. The role is designed to manage and expand distribution in an assigned territory/market and make end users calls together with distributors or in autonomy. Volume, mix and net price are the main driver of KPIs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Develop a sales plan and sales strategy for the assigned territory/market.
  • Prospect for new direct distribution and end user accounts.
  • Initiate and execute action plans to penetrate the market.
  • Build business with incumbent distributors via penetration and selling the whole line.
  • Allocate a major portion of selling time in the cultivation and closing of large end user accounts.
  • Hold frequent sales meetings with distribution.
  • Provide timely, accurate competitive sales reports and information.
  • Maintain accurate records of all pricing, sales and contracts.
  • Create a map for the assigned territory including sales volume, price and expenses.
  • Work with the credit and financial department to insure a fiscally well run territory.
  • Work closely with our marketing and sales team to manage optimum mix.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics and codes.
Qualifications
Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
Required:
  • 5+ years’ of outside sales and/or marketing experience.
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs.
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record.
