Territory Sales Manager, US Chemical

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is the principal contact between U S Chemical and our customers.

By insuring complete customer satisfaction, this position retains and grows our customer base, generating the sales revenue necessary for U S Chemical Corporation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Achieve sales forecast while controlling expenses.

Field trainer of the chemical specialist and sales force of assigned customers in all aspects of the institutional chemical market.

Focal point of resources to improve/enhance business and relationships between U S Chemical and the customer.

Co-manager of our customers’ marketing and sales efforts, working with customer ownership/management in the development of these efforts.

This includes participating in the planning and activities related to shows.

Conduct training/sales meetings with assigned customers to insure effective use of selling aids, literature and product demonstrations.

Conduct regular reviews of chemical programs with customer ownership/management.

Make suggestions as appropriate to improve the profitability and effectiveness of our customers’ chemical programs.

Prepare required reports and files on a timely basis.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or G.E.D.

required (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)

5+ years industry experience preferred

Travel: Ability to travel by plane or car regularly and for long periods of time.

Physical Requirements: Work in an office environment and be able to bend and crouch in order to install chemicals and work with laundry and warewashing machines.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Can reside anywhere south of Sacramento in California

Ability to build relationships at multiple levels of the distributor customer’s organization.

Distributor ownership / management, sales, service and procurement.

Business to Business experience and sales growth.
