POSITION OVERVIEW: The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for sales activities with assigned accounts or within assigned region or territory. The assigned territory will consist of: Los Angeles County, Ventura County, and Santa Barbara County. Manages quality and consistency of service delivery.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Present and sell company products and services to existing or potential clients in the fabrication, remodel, home improvement, design and builder segments.
- Develop strong relationships with clients in each segment.
- Prepare and implement action plans and schedules to identify specific targets in each segment with the assigned territory.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals within assigned territory.
- Provide product and general industry training and education to segments
- Maintain documentation and call reports via Company CRM tool
- Respond to all inquiries for specifications and product information
- Manage accounts through quality checks and other follow up.
- Promote the Company Brands.
- Bring into focus the systems, processes and value that differentiate the Company and brands.
- Promote a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations and individual goals and focus on key drivers that impact success. Communicate those individual expectations to the team of people used to close the specification and produce sales.
- Participate and promote the Company Brands at various industry related functions as required.
- Prepare status reports for assigned territory to include field activity, follow-up sales opportunities etc.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the company.
- Work a flexible schedule with possible overnight travel.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- College Degree in related field or equivalent level of field experience
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in an outside sales related role
- Computer literate and experienced in Word, Excel, Power Point and other applications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional attitude while working hands on
