Technical SEO Manager for Owned Media

We are looking for a mid-senior level manager to oversee various projects pertaining to SEO (search engine optimization), web development/management and insights/analytics.

You will work across departments to continuously improve overall performance of client websites (and other digital platforms), with specific accountability for organic search rankings and technical optimizations.

In this data-centric role, you will be relied on for technical problem solving and insights.

Leverage your analytical, technical, and tactical skills in a highly collaborative setting, working side-by-side with expanding technical marketing teammates who possess a wide range of specialized skills.

Qualifications
3+ years of experience in SEO (search engine optimization), data and analytics.

2+ years of experience in web development and web management.

Experience managing multiple clients and client communication.

Highly organized, strategic thinker with the ability to impact business change and to switch from tactical execution to strategic thinking.

Contributes to internal creative strategy sessions, development and understanding business objectives and target audiences Ability to analyze and articulate new innovations and discern their impact on our business Excellent verbal and written communications skills and an expert in productivity software skills (i.e.

Keynote, Pages, Excel, or similar).

Passion for digital media and emerging technologies Strong numerical aptitude and analytics background and an understanding of SEO principals, strategies and tactics.

Continually guide clients through analytics and insights.

Ensure client satisfaction through thought leadership using various forms of analysis and forecasting future changes

Requirements (Web Dev):
Expert ability to analyze website data utilizing industry tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics or similar).

Experience using Google Analytics, Tag Manager and other data tools.

Experience using research tools like SEMRush, SpyFu, Moz.

Experience installing/configuring/troubleshooting various WordPress plugin and themes.

Strong knowledge of UI/UX web standards and best practices.

Deep understanding of best practices in responsive design for mobile optimization.

Experience developing with Web Standards (HTML, SQL, PHP, JS, CSS, etc) preferred Experience managing WordPress Websites, Plugins and WordPress Development.

Familiarity with site speed monitoring tools (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse)

Requirements (SEO):
Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page content SEO, meta tags, schema markup (structured data) etc.

Understanding of how optimizations take effect, and how to monitor, track, and test those optimizations.

Collaborate with colleagues on website design and development projects and site-specific SEO needs Experience setting up, monitoring and managing Search Console Accounts Ability to debug, analyze and identify optimization opportunities (SEO related, or other web best practices) Ensure pre
– and post-launch SEO tasks are completed to successfully initiate client websites Perform keyword ranking analyses and research to improve ranking and organic search traffic Familiar with best practices for technical SEO components such as schema, canonicals, Core Web Vitals, and XML sitemaps Familiar with App Store Optimization best practices.

Track and analyze technical factors affecting search visibility and index coverage, providing insight and recommendations for improvement.
