POSITION Technical Project Manager (Infotainment) MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 5 years OCCUPATION TYPE Full Time We are looking for a Technical Project Manager for our infotainment team with excellent leadership skills, strong technical expertise, and hands-on project management skills.
The right candidate is adept at writing technical specifications, owning program schedules from design to release, partnering effectively across organizations, and multiple technology teams.
The ideal candidate will develop into a subject matter expertise in Automotive Infotainment and Connectivity Systems.
You’ll be looked to by the service organization for engineering level knowledge of display hardware, connectivity hardware (cellular, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth), GPS hardware, automotive ethernet based and serial communication protocols, UDP / DoIP diagnostic protocols, vehicle telemetry, over the air (OTA) updates and relevant software topics (embedded Linux operating systems, web servers, log data analysis and software update functionality).
RESPONSIBILITIES * Drive architecture, engineering and integration decisions, and timelines across multiple teams and organizations * Partner with engineering teams across departments (including Hardware, Software, Integration and Testing teams) tobuild a detailed understanding of the entire infotainment system.* Plan, create and maintain complex software schedules for multiple programs * Collaborate with different engineering managers, technical leads and developers in establishing agile processes thatmeets the team and programs needs* Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders like hardware, software, test and vendors in identifying team’sdependencies and effectively removing bottlenecks* Anticipate and identify risks, develop actionable mitigation strategies that sets up the team for success * Provide strong leadership by reframing problems when the team is faced with ambiguity, obstacles/deadlocks andsteer them towards solving prioritized problems* Expertly manage stakeholder expectations for both technical and non-technical issues, when the team encounterschallenging issues or obstacles* Take keen interest in product requirements and pay close attention to details when planning projects REQUIREMENTS * BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering, Electrical engineering or other related technical fields * 5+ years (preferred) of experience in Technical or Engineering project management or engineering leadership roles * 3+ years (preferred) of hands-on software development experience for embedded systems or wireless products * Excellent critical thinking and experienced in handling trade-offs * Technical knowledge of software architectures for embedded systems and electronic hardware * Proven leader who can take full ownership with proactive attitude * Excellent communication, organization and collaborative skills * Experience in agile processes and running SW teams using program management tools WORKING AT INDI EV Other than offering endless snacks and coffee, we provide our people with full medical, dental, and vision benefits.
