Role

Splunk is seeking to fill the position of OTC Project Manager, working with the Director of OTC Finance Transformation. As the strategic owner of a team that drives innovation and efficiency at scale, you will be supporting Order Management, Billing, Technical Accounting, Revenue Assurance, Revenue Operations, and Credit & Collections. Planning, leading, and completing global, multi-functional, enterprise-wide projects that impact the Finance organization is your passion. The ability to think critically to plan and execute effectively while collaborating across teams and locations will be key to success in this role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead Planning, execution and delivery of cross-functional initiatives.
  • Partner with key cross functional teams including IT, TPMs, Product Managers and stakeholders on project execution and team efficiency.
  • Work with customers to understand needs to help prioritize product features and development.
  • Build expertise around a program’s domain / subject matter to be able to articulate technical details and requirements to various teams involved.
  • Define metrics and indicators on the program health.
  • Make data informed decisions to steer the program and strategy.
  • Create a collaborative work environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, mastery, innovation, and learning.
  • Manage dependencies between multiple projects.
  • Help teams be more efficient by designing and executing process and strive for operational excellence

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of full time technical program management experience with an engineering organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills ; proven track record of cross-functional and cross-organizational communications through various mediums
  • Experience with driving medium to large technical initiatives through the entire lifecycle
  • Knowledge of complex technical ecosystems and adequate technical depth
  • Analytical and problem-solving experience, exposure to large-scale and/or distributed systems and experience writing code
  • Ability to quickly adapt to faster pace, shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
  • Successfully traverse tactical and strategic objectives.
  • Direct experience working with software engineering leadership, technical teams and individual contributors
  • Proven success on establishing organization-wide processes and communication framework for initiatives
  • 2+ years of hands-on software development experience a plus
  • Understanding of cloud technologies, finance and revenue is a plus.
