The Technical Business Manager is responsible for the growth of market share through the sale of Semiconductor/Electronic Components by generating profitable relationships and sales in the Northern LA Territory.
From opportunity prospecting and customer presentations, to supplier support coordination and distribution partner oversight, the selected candidate will develop and execute successful demand creation strategies for our semiconductor and system component suppliers, and become the go to resource for our customers and distribution partners.
Candidates will be solution oriented, strive to sell our whole product portfolio to qualified candidates, particularly involving the value-add capabilities that our manufacturers we rep offer.
Minimum Qualifications: * Minimum BSEE/BSc or equivalent and 3 plus years of hands-on sales experience with various semiconductor or embedded system products.* Broad knowledge of the semiconductor and electronic components sector, including a sound grasp of business issues, market forces and industry dynamics.* Working knowledge of various semiconductor components, embedded systems, firmware, and development tools, and experience selling system-critical products and technologies.* Strong presentation and technical training skills including the ability to understand a customer?s needs and to probe for answers, and then determine a solution and advocate that solution to the customer.* Ability to relate to multiple levels of customer?s marketing, engineering, and materials/procurement staff, across many diverse and varied applications.* Ability to become the key business liaison between our customers and suppliers teams in order to resolve issues and drive sales in the territory.* Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple customer?s projects and activities, simultaneously, across the defined territory.
