We are a full-service public accounting firm with over 30 years’ experience providing bookkeeping, accounting and tax preparation services.
Responsibilities:
- Tax Manager/CPA/MBT will review and/or prepare tax returns (Corporation, Partnership, Trust and Individual), delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe
- Building relationships and interacting with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise
- Providing innovative tax planning and review of complex income tax return
- Manage and coordinate tax audits, tax provisions, and tax compliance process
- Improve the firm’s processes by developing or implementing best practices
Preferences:
- Master’s in Business Taxation – preferred but not required
- CPA License – preferred but not required
Qualifications and Requirements for Tax Manager:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Public Accounting (min. req. BA degree in Accounting) – Corporation, Partnership, Trust and Individual tax review and preparation experience
- Strong technical tax review and preparation skills (LACERTE knowledge is a plus)
- Tax Audit Representation experience is a plus.
- Tax Research abilities.
- Must have excellent computer skills (QuickBooks & Microsoft office programs)
- Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize/multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with staff members of diverse accounting backgrounds.
- Ability to interact with clients in a professional manner.
