Tax Manager
AccuVisors is currently seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team in our San Diego, CA or Woodland Hills, CA location.

Position Summary:
Primary responsibility for tax services for clients in a wide variety of industries. Responsibilities include interacting with clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise; providing primary review of all tax returns; and working closely with partners and staff on client management.
We currently have an office in San Diego and one in Woodland Hills, along with a team in the Philippines, for a total of 25 employees. Responsibilities include managing staff on client engagements; plan, execute, direct, and complete tax projects in a wide variety of industries; provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients; and manage to budget.
Manage, develop and train staff on tax projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews.
Conduct review of income tax returns to include Corporate, S-Corp., Partnership, Fiduciary and individual clients. Prepare more complicated returns of all types.
Maintain communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and make sure deadlines are met.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Active CPA license in California. EA acceptable.
• 5-10 years of progressive federal tax consulting and compliance experience in public accounting
• Experience with Corporate, S-Corp., Partnership, Fiduciary and Non-Profit returns, including multi-state and international tax issues.
• 2-5 years of experience reviewing tax returns.
Required Skills and Abilities
• Excellent analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Strong written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technology, Lacerte preferred.
