TheSupervisor, Service Contract Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily contract operational activities for service contracts. This includes coordinating service contract booking activities, contract audits, contract monitoring, and renewals. The Supervisor will also project manage Service Contract Operations portion of the Guardian lease contracts and integrate the booking of lease contracts into the existing workflow. The role will supervise two Senior Service Contract Specialists and three Service Contract Specialists – five direct reports.

The role will primarily be focused on improving the overall efficiencies of the service contract booking process. Responsibilities will include ensuring that all processes and Guardian documentation are complete and updated on a regular basis. In addition, the Supervisor will onboard and train all new Service Contract Specialists and provide ongoing training to existing staff.

• Oversee the service contract processing operations

    • Review existing contract booking processes and work to improve output and efficiencies
    • Develop and manage operational reporting and distribution of that reporting to senior management
    • Ensure that business processes support the Guardian infrastructure and workflow and that all documentation is accurate and complete
    • Optimize efficiencies to ensure department SLAs are met and that workload is evenly distributed to optimize output
    • Manage contract audit process and report regular status updates

    • In collaboration with KSC, develop an end-to-end process for booking and managing operational and capital lease agreements
    • Develop an audit process for auditing all lease agreements in Guardian to ensure reporting accuracy

    • Ensure that Service Contract Specialists are fully trained on all aspects of the Guardian system
    • On-going maintenance of Guardian documentation
    • Work with IT to develop new Guardian functionality to support the Service/Lease business and participate in future Guardian projects as the SCO SME

Minimum/Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree and 2 years of experience in SAP operations; Experience within the KS organization preferred

Or

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in SAP operations; Experience within the KS organization preferred

Or

  • Associate’s degree and 7 years of experience in SAP operations ; Experience within the KS organization preferred
  • 5-7 plus years of work experience in operations; Experience within the KS organization preferred
  • 2 years of supervisory experience or 2 years experience in a Sr. level Customer Support KARL STORZ role required
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented with good time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service experience
  • Proficient with Guardian and SAP application
  • Possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task

  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels of management
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff and management as a self-starter and in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize own work and projects with minimal supervision
