Job Details: SUPERVISOR COLLATERAL CUSTODIAN
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Supervisor Collateral Custodian is responsible for ensuring original collateral documentation is received, logged and properly stored in a secured location.
The supervisor provides leadership, guidance and support to a team of production support specialists who complete centralized tasks such as but not limited to reviewing, tracking and gathering of: original collateral documents, trailing documents, document indexing, and archiving of applicable documents.
Direct management responsibilities include, but not limited to meeting daily and monthly productivity metrics and overall management of the team.
This includes but not limited to task monitoring, reviewing production and quality results, proactively managing issues and escalating to management as necessary and adhering to all other departmental SLA’s.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Manage the team pipeline to ensure all departmental SLA’s are met and/or exceeded.
Ensure quality and productivity standards are achieved.
Ensures all colleagues on their team operate in accordance with the established procedures and metrics set forth by management.
Provides colleagues honest and clear feedback regarding strengths, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Provides daily/weekly/monthly coaching and guidance.
Serves as a single point of contact for all escalated matters.
Demonstrates the ability to build alignment and commitment within and across functions to achieve common goals.
Monitor and assess team performance and activities.
Responsible for all aspects of performance management, staffing and training.
Identifies and implements efficiency improvement opportunities for operational excellence and aligns initiatives with any existing organizational programs supporting continuous improvement.
Other duties as/or assigned by management.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Must-Have*
H.S.
Diploma
Minimum 3 years experience in mortgage/small business/consumer/commercial loan operations
Minimum 2 years management experience required
Skills and Knowledge
Excellent working knowledge of mortgage/small business/consumer/commercial operations and documents.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor.
Ability to maintain high levels of performance, especially in stressful situations.
Strong knowledge of federal/state regulatory policies and procedures.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to manage the workflow to enhance productivity while minimizing stress.
Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office and Loan Origination systems.
