KPMG is currently seeking a Strategy Director to join our Clients and Markets organization.

Responsibilities:
Act as the corporate strategy liaison to one of our three service units, provide strategic advice
– primarily related to growth (organic and inorganic)
– to one or more industry groups, and serve as an internal strategy consultant for specific areas of the firm Conduct reviews and pressure test service unit submitted strategic plans and answers to challenge questions, prepare for Management Committee and bi-annual management strategic reviews and firm communications of outcomes Continue dialogue and communications with service unit and industry group stakeholders to remain aligned on changes to strategy or planned investments Develop ad-hoc studies, analyses and strategies to support the firm’s long-term strategic goals and act as a liaison with the market intelligence organization to identify analysis or research needed to inform strategic studies Compile assessments, develop business cases and present output to senior leadership to help guide decisions Lead special projects that support the overall strategy, coordinate with project stakeholders, drive and create project specific deliverables and understand how the effort ties into firm operations / service units and overall strategic goals Qualifications: Minimum of four years of experience with strong performance at a boutique strategy consulting firm/unit in at least one of the following strategy consulting areas: strategic planning and growth, operational improvement, or other relevant strategy experience; ten years of recent progressive leadership preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment MBA, JD, or PhD degree from an accredited college or university Ability to conduct value-added questioning and challenge conversations with firm business executives about their business strategies in a positive, non-derogatory fashion Strong strategic insight development, strategy process design, research, analytical and project management skills Blend of excellent verbal / written communication skills and very strong quantitative capabilities The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for the role.

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g.

JD/technology), for example.
