Strategy and Operations Manager, Brand Studio

Minimum qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.* 6 years of operations experience.* Experience driving organizational diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.Preferred qualifications:* Experience driving organizational operations and/or workforce planning initiatives in a marketing or creative environment.* Excellent written and oral communication, spreadsheet, presentation design and people skills.* Ability to drive change and evolve thinking at the most senior levels.* High tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial approach.* Deep understanding of DEI principles and personal commitment to cultural education.* Passion for driving team culture and/or diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives for an organization.About the jobBrand Studio is a passionate team of creative thinkers and marketers. You will drive optimal functioning of the organization and the team’s wide range of expertise.In this critical role, you will drive the internal experience of belonging on a team responsible for communicating Google’s values to the world, and you are in touch with the latest DEI practices.Collaboration, organization and a constant need to optimize are key drivers to how you get things done. You will use your project management skills to deliver on the team operational plan and DEI commitments. You will build bridges with centers of excellence and teams across Marketing, People Operations and more. You thrive in fast-paced environments and can pivot between projects at any given point. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can–changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.Responsibilities* Manage headcount planning, staffing prioritization, onboarding, tracking and optimal deployment of our people resources across the team, in close partnership with People Operations* Lead content for team strategy Town Halls and other key team-wide meetings* Partner closely with Marketing Operations to ensure consistency with Marketing’s priorities and to contribute best practices to the organization* Partner with the DEI Champion lead, Marketing’s DEI leadership, the VP of the organization, and the leadership team to drive Marketing-wide and team-specific DEI commitments, including ensuring implementation and tracking for the organization, and ensure DEI is a key component of all of the team and people programs and support our team community groups* Develop and lead innovative projects that drive the team culture forward and contribute to an even greater culture of belonging for the team
